November Knit Nite!

We will be having our monthly knit night on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 from 4:30 - 9:00 pm. We will be meeting in the ER office as usual, so we will see you there with your craft of choice and a snack/drink for youself if you wish. We also love to see past projects to inspire us, bring all your goods.

If you don't know how to knit, there will be people and supplies to help you get started. We are also looking for someone to show a few of us how to crochet. And of course, if you don't know how to knit and are adverse to learning or bringing a different craft...stop by to chat! Even just for 15 minutes.

And if you can't make it, or can't wait that freakin long, you are more than welcome to drop by the office at any time to talk yarn or maybe learn how to cast on.

I'm in. I will bring, hopefully, several of my completed Christmas scarves. I am finishing up Mark's parents' two Longhorns scarves. And I finished a certain purple one but haven't figured out (or looked) so see what BEADS to put on it for her. You know who you are. And I completed 2 green ones for Alec and Thuy so they can be twinsies. And hopefully, I will have finished or I will work on Mai's mint green shawl. Then what, oh, my nieces' projects. I really need to finish these in order to ship on time.

Bummer -- I'm totally down for a Tuesday knit night, but I'm leaving to stuff myself with Turkey that day. I promise to make it next time.

BTW, Thien's "several completed Christmas scarves" AH! I'm having trouble finishing one (I just had to do a sportweight one on size 4 needles...)

Hmm, and now I'll look at a calendar and say "Oh, that's the week after Thanksgiving!"
