I finally finished my two longhorns scarves for my in-laws. Threaded all the ends and everything. All that is left is to giftwrap them. Phew. I went to Houston with Mark for the Tx Baseball Hall of Fame deal for Smokey Joe. While waiting eagerly to meet this "Pudge" fellow, I finished Nathan's BIG burnt orange scarf. That yarn is not easy to work with but the result is what I want for him, he's a tall and big man so I needed something thick. Plus the color was perfect. Oh, and I finally met Pudge and some other nice baseball players. Very interesting even for a non-baseball fan like me. And Mark accepted Smokey Joe's induction into the Hall of Fame and did a great job even though he had some doubts. He's so hard on himself. I had fun, had a great meal, met Rev. Garner, father of Astros coach Phil Garner and won a Jeff Bagwell statute. What a night.
